I have noted that the Website has instances of two loggable TPs at very close proximity. Eg TP0371 and TP10119 are for the current pillar and the site of the previous destroyed pillar at Gedney Drove End, just visited by Perigrinus. At grid ref SU195427 there is TP0742 a pillar and TP8928 a buried ...

The EA would never ever place a marker in tarmac but there could be solid concrete below. There is an outfit called "Cheshire Brine Subsidence Compensation Board" that used to carry out surveys, not sure now what they do. Lieca Smartnet is used a lot now.
