site functionality: comments on logs?

the forum seems a wee bit dead imho, mostly just software comments and answers, maybe it is just a 'help section'
but I also watch the log activity and I kinda want to comment on peoples logs.
Coventry Airfield, lovely drive to trig point, that is threatened. Comment and raise awareness. Every trig point should be a listed building imho. Triggin happy, should be complimented and all of us should try and protect this pillar.
Mow cop and MB, recent post. That's a beautiful pillar, somebody has made an effort! lugged paint and tools to it. cleaned the bronze and painted it. |Well done!
Praise and action are needed imho.
