Whitwell Moor, Stocksbridge

Hello,
F.y.i., I went to the trig on Whitwell Moor, Stocksbridge, Sheffield yesterday, it has had a sticky substance poured all over the top of it. It wasn't immediately visible in the bright sun, I only realised when I put my hand on it and got it on my clothes. I'm unsure what the substance is, whether it was a food stuff?? pale pink/orange in colour. I tried to clean it off as much as I could but still lots left on it.
Also lots of rubbish on the hilltop which I took with me when I left.
