Hi Teasel, thanks for your detailed response.
Definitely on the ToDo list... but I want the filtering functionality to mature a bit first.
Enhanced filtering and searching with the ability to export would be at the top of my wish list!
All your efforts with TPUK are much appreciated. Have you ...

Re: Server migration / website re-write
Hi Teasel,
The TPUK update looks good and thanks for all your effort. It is much appreciated.
A few observations and suggestions that will hopefully be helpful –
On the map when displaying the trig points you haven’t logged those logged as “unreachable but visible” are showing on the map as not ...

Secondary trig points would be able to observe some primary TPs as well other secondary, tertiary and fourth order TPs.

Re: Trig point visibility
A trig point would need to able to observe (or be observed by in the case of intersected trig points) at least two other trig points in order to make a triangle. Of course there are exceptions to this especially if you have other observations you can add to the computational mix (e.g. distances). In ...

Re: Buckinghamshire Mystery
Just wondering what the source of the map in the original post is? Map has "GRP 1999" on it which I take is the authors initials and the year of creation?
Also most locations are coloured black but some are coloured blue. What does this mean? Visited by GRP maybe?

Re: Concrete ring trig points and a Wainwright error?
I have used Kew in the past on another topic, but I got the impression from my contact at OS that such records about TPs, etc, could be loose papers in boxes, rather than everything in tidy files!
I went to Kew last year. All the station records I accessed (from Surrey, Hampshire and ...

Accessible Disc (not a rivet)
I think I have found at Heathy Park Reservoir a rare example of an asphalt disc that still exists and is accessible. Currently it is recorded in the trig database as a rivet but its not a rivet and this is supported by the original OS marking report (sourced from the National Archives in Kew) that ...

Monument Hill Trig Pillar (TP4899) Badly Damaged
Unfortunately it looks like the Monument Hill pillar has been badly damaged by vandals.

Re: Sketches of non-passive stations
As a rule of thumb since trig points rely on line of sight to other trig points generally they are located up high. In the case of trig point on a water tower the TP would usually be at the top. I am sure though there are exceptions to this rule.
