Trig pillar, spider and cap dimensions

Post by [email protected] »

Hi!
Does anyone have, or know where to locate exact dimensions for a trig pillar and its components, in particular the cap, to enable an exact replica to be made?

Just for clarity. do you mean the spec's for the pillar above ground or the entire pillar including the underground base?

Additionally it might be worth confirming the type of pillar you're trying to replicate - there are a few variations, a few examples below

Some trig enthusiasts have built their own pillar, for example

They might be able to help you.
The name and address of the respective builder is given in the logs.

James Wright ('Wheresthatpenguin') has manufactured replacement
pillar caps using 3D printing and so would have dimensions, but I
don't know a contact address.

Gross dimensions are available here: https://trigpointing.uk/wiki/Anatomy
I have a trigpoint in my garden, so if you need any particular measurements, let me know ([email protected])
