displaying bagged trigs on the map

hi folks ive done a few trigs now but how do i display on the map which ones i have done for example if i bagg a trig and log it can i get the icon to change colour on the map to say bagged

This is controlled in the Map Filters section of the map page (shown by default on large screens, on small screens you might need to click the "burger menu" icon on the left).

Under "Icon Colours", if you click "My Logs", then the trigpoint icons will change colour to reflect your logs (green for found in good condition, yellow for logged as damaged, red for logged as destroyed or not found, grey for not logged). Choosing "Condition" will change the colours to reflect the overall T:UK database, not your personal finds.

If you only want to see particular colours of icon on the map, then clicking the icons under "Marker Colours" will toggle their display. (And similarly for different physical types of trigpoint).

Be aware that, for performance reasons, there is a limit of 1000 icons which can be displayed on the map. Beyond that, you'll see a "heatmap" effect, not individual icons.
